WHO WE ARE

CO-FOUNDED BY OLIVIA DOWD AND CHLOE CHRISTIAN, MIRRORBALL is a multidisciplinary theatre company; interested in documentary, resistance, and space

“The mirrored ball is a beautiful sight in a dark club.”

– Donna Summer

“A disco ball is a reflection of you and everyone around you.”

– Nile Rodgers

We take research and oral histories and create performances.

We are interested in creating a circular structure with our work:

  1. ‘Page to stage (research to theatrical imagining)

  2. Stage to forum (theatrical imagining to forum-like interaction with themes)

  3. Forum to page (forum-like interaction with themes to documentation stage - either codifying the process for a tour or sharing processes and learnings or feeding into next work, allowing for evolution)

A thought-provoking piece brought to the stage with love and energy
